Amayama operates under Spanish law through our non-profit association, Natural Psychology. The association is legally registered and allows us to safely organise plant medicine gatherings in Spain.
As a participant, you become a member of our association. Becoming a member involves a health screening and a personal interview with our team, so that every participant is properly prepared. Learn more about the legal framework in our FAQ.
All Amayama gatherings are private, non-commercial cultural activities, exclusively for registered members of Asociación Natural Psychology.

Our association is led by a multidisciplinary team with backgrounds in psychology, art therapy, traditional healing practices, and supported by medical and legal advisors.
Our retreats are guided by Axis (16+ years, psychologist & healer) and Chiara (7+ years, art therapist & guide), bringing a unique approach that bridges modern psychological care with ancestral wisdom. They are joined by their teachers Sylvie (20+ years, nurse & plant medicine specialist) and Vicente (20+ years, osteopath & shamanic healer). Together, they create a rare constellation of professional expertise and lived experience, ensuring every gathering is held with the highest standards of safety and care.
